Buddy List?

I have been invited and accepted many buddy list requests

But what does that do? What am I supposed to do? Is there a way to send IMs or something I am missing???

I think you just go to My Info
Then you can accept it.

I have accepted all the invitations after following the links I'm just not sure what the point is

Neither do I. Honestly what happens if you "break a friendship" does it send the other person a nasty message?

Not that I want to, but what does that mean???

I'm not sure but I think it gives you the ability to grant permission to certain people for your photo albums and profile information etc.

You can share photo albums with your contacts, and their pictures show up on your profile page. That's all for now, but more functionality coming soon.
