"Bookmarking" a thread

Is there a way to "bookmark" a particular thread aside from scrolling through my subscribed threads?

You can use Furl or Delicious using or .

Alternatively, you can drag the link to the thread to your bookmarks toolbar.

Or, you can go in to your control panel, and under options, change your default subscription mode to "Do Not Subscribe", and then start to use the subscription mechanism as a bookmarking tool.
