Who are the Kardashian's and why are they famous?

I've seen the show - the mom is married to Bruce Jenner. But I think her first husband was also famous. Not sure what happened to him. And then the daughter Kim is sort of a Paris Hilton- socialite type. Only brunette. Which all begs the question....just WHY are they famous? No clue.

Robert Kardashian was one of OJs best friends and defended him during the trial (he was a lawyer). It was very hard on the family because Kris was VERY close to Nicole. Kris and Robert had 4 kids, 3 girls and 1 boy. Bruce also had 4 kids from his first marriage, possibly second? And they have 2 girls together.

What got them their recent notoriaty is Kim Kardashian's sex tape which was released some years ago. Not sure who she was with but it was a big deal at the time ala Pam & Tommy.

Robert Kardashian died of a heart attack a few years ago off the top of my head I'd say it has been 5 years but you could Google.

Robert Kardashian (their dad, famous big time lawyer in LA) died of throat cancer a few years back very suddenly. They are now "famous" (if that is what you want to call it) because they have a reality show on E.

I didn't know them until they started being in The Soup all.the.time. Joel hasthe best description.

For us Jaye is at 9 pm.

She's also dating Reggie Bush (the football player) if I remember right.
