Oxyclean? I'm not really sure. I know Oxyclean has worked wonders on other set-in stains. Good luck.

Can you wash them and then hang them in the sun to dry, Linda? That always works for us with spit-up stains (sun-bleaching, that is). Having said that, my suggestion almost makes me laugh out loud because that definitely wouldn't be an option around here today (SO cold!). But hopefully you're having a nice hot, sunny day!

I sometimes use that Dual Power stain remover (can't quite remember the name), although it's pretty harsh so I'm not sure you'd want to use it.

I had a similar reaction when I pulled out our baby clothes for #2. DD never had formula, so I was horrified. Amazingly they came out with Oxy Clean. I put it on them as a paste and let them sit.
Knowing what I know now ( I have now ruined things with Oxy ) I would not try that approach! I would go with good ol' Fels Naptha!

Soak in a big old vat of Oxy for a couple of days. Then wash with Oxy and hang in the sun (if possible) to dry. Reapeat as many times as needed. I have gotten set in blood (washed and dried by accident) with Oxy. I don't do the paste method though. I've heard (from pps) it can ruin things.

This is my stain removal system. Works on nearly everything. Boil water or heat in microwave till really hot. Add a good amount of Oxyclean and pour hot mixture on the stains (N.B. mixture can overflow when you add the Oxy so don't fill your container to the top with water). Let it soak a bit then wash in hot water. You can let it soak in the washer too.
