Default meal-planning websites??

OK, so I am going hardcore on health for this year. Seriously, I cannot stomach feeding my children any more hot dogs, chicken nuggets and canned peas. Those things are fine occasionally, but it's just gotten out of control. We are awful with getting to the store, so our meals are always thrown together and usually are lacking in several food groups. Which also doesn't help with my WW. I need help. Anyone know of any good healthy menu planning websites? Any suggestions are very appreciated!!!

I don't have a site to suggest, but I do my own. I plan 3-4 meals a week. We eat left overs or out the other nights. I plan for as little as a week or as much as a month - it just depends on how hetic I'll be. In the winter I make soup once a week and red meat once a week. I check the sales of my 2 favorite grocery stores and depending what is on sale, I go from there. I do one major shopping trip so everything is on hand.
I don't feel that I'm explaining this very well, sorry. I'd be happy to help you. Post here or PM me with any specifics.

I don't have any suggestions b/c this is one of my "10 things" to do this year. One thing I have learned is to keep the kitchen well stocked. I have a cookbook (Rachel Ray...Express Lane) that has (what I think) is a really good list of what should be in your cupboards/fridge/freezer/etc. It also has some good quick recipies (ready in 30 minutes or less).

If anybody has a "system" that they want to share I'm all ears!

I really like this site. You can input your menu, make a shopping list, etc. I use it every week to help me plan out our menu for all three meals each day.

The "Real Simple" website has some good recipies on it too. Pretty easy looking and quick to prepare.

Thanks for posting that, Erika. I am going to spend some time exploring that tonight!
