How was the wine bar last night?

Fun!! They had all different kinds of wines. The food wasn't great, but decent. I ordered 2 flights. The first was Bold and Flavorful reds and the second was Light and Fruity reds. I saved the names to show you. (Feels like show and tell), but my friend took off with it on accident. I'm sending her an email today to get the names. There was one wine from Chili I didn't care for, but everything else was good.

You were on my mind the whole time. I kept wondering what you'd order and suggest. When we were handed the menus I thought of you then too. They change things often and the waiter told us that the menus were just reprinted. I thought "This must be what Jodi does!"

If you ever find yourself in Michigan, hell Ontario, we have a date. My treat. I really enjoy wine, but I don't "know" a lot about it. I'd love to learn more. Plus this is the kind of homework I can get behind

A friend of mine took wine-tasting in college. I was so jealous that my school didn't offer that course.

Sounds like fun!... I can't picture a trip to ON any time soon, but it would be nice to get an east coast YA YA going!

DH took wine tasting in college. Me...nope, I just stuck with all the required courses to get my degree -- no more. I figured I wasn't going to be in class to have fun...that's what all the hours outside of class were all about!

I thought of opening a bottle last night just to have one tiny glass...I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I told DH he has a date tonight with me and the jacuzzi. Maybe I'll make him share a tiny glass with me tonight to celebrate the last of the belly.

He's so not getting some. Unless he comes downstairs on his own and starts kissing my a$$...Post dinner was very grumpy in our house and now he is obviously staying up in DD's room while she falls asleep and will fall asleep himself until I got and drag him out of there. I was left to clean up the big fat dinner mess, feed dogs and get all the house work done. He also gave me a hard time about fetal alcohol syndrome for the thought of having one little glass...so no wine for me. I feel guilty now.

Maybe I will...I wish I knew where the good bottles were in our wine rack. We have a pretty stocked rack that has now been moved to the back of the closet under our stairs and now you have to climb over mountains of toys to get to them. I'd hate to waste the one glass on a bad glass of wine...
