Re: Like a slice of Lemon? | | My friend and I were discussing this the other day.
If you have ever worked in the food industry you know that lemons are usually sliced at the beginning of the day for the whole day so they sit around in stainless steel containers to the open air.
My first thought is that lemon is acidic and so I think though they found germs on the lemon I think maybe once you squeezed it and released the acidic juice maybe that would kill some of the germs?
The reality is that I have MUCH more pressing things to worry about in life than whether my lemon wedge has fecal matter. Honestly, just about everything you touch has fecal matter and tons of germs and yet somehow we have survived as a race.
I honestly wish they would spend the money, time and energy testing something that might actually benefit someone rather than creeping everyone out. |
