I never ask DH for big expensive gifts. Never. But he kind of owes me right now (Big Time) and with both my birthday and Christmas coming up, I am thinking of asking for some new jewelry. What do you girls think of this set?

I don't wear a ton of jewelry but would like a nice set that I could wear for something both casual or slightly dressy. I know that gold is coming back in style, but I always seem to lean towards silver. Thoughts?

Very pretty but simple - I really like them. And I would lean toward the silver as well. You're making it very easy for your DH!

I think it's lovely- something you could wear with lots of different types of clothing. And I think that if you prefer silver that's what you should go with regardless of the trends- you'll get more use out of it. I've always been a yellow gold person- the few silver pieces I bought to be "in style" were a total waste- I never wear them.

Forget trends, it has to do with your skin tone. If you are a silver person, stick with it. Those are very pretty.

I think they're beautiful and you could really get a lot of use out of them...they could easily be paired with jeans and a t-shirt or a LBD!

Definitely. I like that a lot, and I can see it going with the things you wear. Dressy or not. I think you'd find a lot of use for it, and it would never go out of style.
