My step-Mom is currently going through chemo for the third time

Years ago she had breast cancer had a single mastectomy and chemo. About 3 years ago she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. They took everything out and she had like 12 rounds! Just 6 months ago she was diagnosed with spleen and stomach cancer

The good nes is that my Dad is retired and can take care of her. They also have a great support system in California.

I had a thought today to make her an inspirational blanket with quotes on it. She is a small little thing and she had just gotten to her regular weight when she was diagnosed this time so she is cold all the time.

I was thinking something like this in the middle:

Any other inspirational suggestions Biblical or otherwise?

That is really sweet. Maybe do a handprint for everyone who loves her? A long distance laying of hands.
You should put those on your website, people would snatch them up.

That is a wonderful idea. I love Suzy's idea of the hands, too. I have a book called the "quotable woman" that has some great ones - I'll see if I can find anything in there.

Just one to add to the wonderful list Jaye provided - John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."
ETA: the hands idea is wonderful!

That is a really beautiful idea. I like the hands idea too. No matter what you put on there, I'm sure you will touch her heart.

What a neat idea! My dad's church makes prayer shawls and he got one last year before his surgery for prostate cancer. The person prays for the person who will recieve it while they make it. Then a prayer is said as it is given to that person.

What a nice idea, Keri. Love it. I love the idea if the hand prints with names attached...

And I agree with a pp--you should market and sell that idea on GT. People would snatch them up.
