Ok. So, I never ordered our wedding photos. As in, we had them taken. I got a proof book. We paid for them. I never placed the order. STUPID...I know.

There's no good reason why either. We had some great pictures done.

Anyway, I just called the photographer, after spending an hour trying to locate some contact info, and she is no longer taking photos. I'm out the $1000. BUT, she said she'd send me our negatives.

Where on earth would I go to get the negatives into pictures, and the pictures into an album?? Our anniversary is in August, and I wanted to surprise DH with our album...FINALLY...after FOUR years!

I know it's my own fault, but I'm in tears about it none the less.

Try contacting a photographer in your area and see if they can help you turn the pictures into the album you want.

Aw, Tracy. I am sorry. At least you got the negs.

Any photo place should be able to print them for you. See if they can do contact sheets so you don't have to pay for all the pics to get them developed (some might not be great or dupes). Then pick the ones you want and have them printed or ask for a CD and upload to them to Kodak or Shutterfly and make a beautiful picture book. Get the nicest pics framed to go along with the album for your DH.

Took me a year to order my album...then I was forced to do it! Got pg!

Take the negatives to a photo shop and ask them to make a CD. You can make your own album. There's beautiful photo books that you can make online.

You can do this on your own!!! There are several ways you can. Take the negatives to a photo shop, a real photo shop like Ritz or a local place. Just make sure they do in house processing. They can take the negatives and make you lovely pictures for not too much. You can have one of those photo books made or you can buy a leather album off of ebay if you want the old school kind or you can go to Exposures.com and find something there.

A regular wedding photographer will be able to help you too but it will cost a lot more.

Another vote for doing it on your own!! Ask the photog if you can have the pics on CD - then you could even do it at home on the computer at Shutterfly or Kodak...they have some very nice scrapbook albums.

It took me 3 years to order mine...and I only did it because my sis, who got married a year after me (same photog) and I made a pact that we'd get it done.
