It was a tiring 2 days but I am glad I went. The drive over was easy but by the time I got to the hotel I wanted a drink! 3 hours in the car with 3 little girls who.never.stopped.talking! Hey Jodi, just for you a little note about Florida critters, this time at least I did not hit anything but on one of roads right in the middle of the state (all farm country) I came around a bend and dead on the side of the road was an Alligator probably about 5-6' long.

Gotta love Florida raod kill.
The girls did really well at the funeral. My uncles girlfriends grandchildren were there one of which was a 12 year old girl she kept my girls out in the lobby most of the time. She was a life saver! I was very proud of Becca she did great. My sister was sitting with my cousin (my uncle's daughter) and they were trying to explain to Rebecca how they were related and what being a "cousin" is, etc. Laura (my cousin) said to her that Uncle Fran was her Daddy and that he had passed away. Becca stood up went over to her and gave her big hug and told it would be ok because he was in heaven now and Bandit would be with him so they could play together and take walks together. I never told her that but the only other experience she has had with death is Bandit. It was very sweet.
I am glad I took your advice and went. Every said how nice it was to have the girls there to ease the saddness.
