I would not care one bit about what they thought of me. You'd lose all respect if you laid out rules and then caved. Same as you would with your kids. You set an expectation, then you must hold to it.
The attitude today is "I am more special than anyone else", and "rules are made to be broken for me", and "It can't hurt to ask". |
