Eewww! Hand washing after group play is automatic. period. I would get weird looks from the other moms when I had a park district tumbling class for switching out his socks & washing his hands, but can you guess who's kid didn't get foot/mouth disease every time it came around? Even if I don't have access to a sink I use a safe hand sanitizer until he can wash them.
