Fun for me! (eyeroll)

DH took the day off. We went to the zoo this morning and had a blast

. On the way home Sarah fell asleep which is great. As I'm getting Anna out of the truck she leans over and wakes up Sarah

. We've had many talks about how she shouldn't wake up her sister, even one on the way home today.

So I have a baby crying in her crib because she can't get back to sleep, a preschooler crying in the basement because I took her shows away at rest time as punishment, and DH left for a bike ride

.

FUN! I get to listen to the crying and not get a darn thing done this afternoon!

Oh no! I hope they both calm down soon and you can have some quiet in the house. BTW, why did DH leave you with two unhappy kids? Fooey on him. BTW, Bugs wakes up Punky as well...no matter now many times I've told him not to.

Its a given that he will ride his bike on any day that his is off

. Regardless of screeming kids, ugh.

I'm planning to get a pedicure tomorrow to make up for this pain of an afternoon ....

Oh, we are so married to the same man.....

Enjoy tomorrow's pedi and take an EXTRA long time! These are the days I call "Groundhog's Day". When DH takes off and I am still left doing the nap duty/dirty work.....
