on the girls halloween costumes this weekend. Amber will be Dorothy, Becca will be Glinda and Ashley will be the Scarecrow. I putting together Ashley's myself the other 2 I bought and am just making some accessories. My girlfriends son is going to be the tin man.

I am seriously considering dressing up as the evil witch to almost complete the group. I am an idiot and actually LOVE to get dressed up for Halloween, have not done it in years because Mike hated it. Right now I am on a roll about doing things that I wanted to do or liked to do that Mike always gave me about so I really want to do this. I got a witches hat at Target for $2.00 and a pair of red and black striped witches stockings for $3.00. I don't have any money to commit to this so anybody either have an adult witches costume they can lend me or any ideas on how I can make myself a witch for like no money?

Do you have a black dress or even black pants/top? You could make a black cape from a sheet or just a strip of fabric (I saw lots of black halloween fabric on sale at Hancock fabrics this weekend), wear all black plus your leggings, slap on the hat, paint your face green, and call it good! Carry a broom, too, if you can manage it!

That will be so cute! I don't have a witch's costume either, but a black dress & black tights will be fine. Everyone will know you are a witch by the hat.

What size is Becca? I have a beautiful hand-sewn Dorothy costume that Molly wore last year and I am saving for Lucy. It is a size 5/6. If you can take back her costume, you are welcome to borrow ours! It has the white dress, gingham apron, gingham hair ties, Toto & basket, and red sparkly shoes size 12.5. LMK if you want any of it!
