Awww ... that looks like quite the playroom. (I believe MY playroom looked a lot like that when I was little. There were only a couple times where my mom actually couldn't see or find me. )

Oh dear - yeah, that would make me cry. Our living room gets like that once or twice a week.

I believe that I have the male version of that. Not so much pink. Lots of John Deere Green & Yellow. Lots of wheels, animals & barns.

And because my house is so dinky, it has spewed out into the living room as well. I raise the white flag. Besides, it matches the mountains of laundry on the floor, right???

Oh, goodness... it's amazing what such little people can do to a big space! Now that our playroom is in the basement (instead of the living room where I had to face it every time I came in the front door) I'm trying to be more laid back about this kind of mess-- but it still gets to me. Those are pictures for the girls' baby books!

Okay, that would freak me out. I am uber organized though and don't keep a lot of toys in the playroom as I rotate them with a huge shelving system full that we put up in our basement. That said, our playroom is our old formal living room which is the first room you see when you enter our front door, so I couldn't hide the mess if I wanted to. The girls don't seem to mind though. I generally encourage Alden to put things away when he is done with them or at least before nap and definitely at bed time. Usually for us it is piles of books everywhere with a smattering of trucks.
