1) Eat what you eat? No. Sam is a very choosy eater...eats a wide variety, but he's VERY specific on what he does/does not eat. There are about 2 things that we eat that he would actually try.
2) Finish what you give them? Yes...most of the time he eats it all and more.
3) Stay at the table while they eat? Yes...I still strap him into his booster seat.
4) Eat as a family? Most of the time, unless I don't get our dinner made in time and we have to wait until after they are in bed.
5) COMPLAIN about EVERYTHING!HA! It's the toddler code. Nothing is ever perfect!

LOL Jodi. Ok . . .

1) Eat what you eat? Yes, mommy does not cater to multiple orders. It's never a problem with Risy. Maribelle is finicky with meat so sometimes she skips that but eats everything else. They can have fruit for dessert no sweets after dinner.

2) Finish what you give them? Most of the time, except for the meat issue. I've been blessed with good eaters

3) Stay at the table while they eat? When DH is home, yes. We all sit at the table until everyone is finished. No getting up, no horseplay. When it's just me and the girls, I'm more relaxed about it since I usually don't eat until they go to bed. They eat when they want and go about whatever they were doing.

4) Eat as a family? See above

5) COMPLAIN about EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! Only Maribelle. She complains at the first sight of meat and will say she doesn't like it before she even tries it. Her nickname at the dinner table is "Negative Nelly".

1) Eat what you eat?
Yes.
2) Finish what you give them?
No. My kid eats constantly and lots of food...but she only finishes breakfast & snacks. Lunch and dinner have too many veggies & too much protein -- she prefers her carbs & fruit!!
3) Stay at the table while they eat?
Yes. She is strapped in her seat at dinner. Breakfast & lunch are at a booster seat on the island bar stool so she has to stay seated.
4) Eat as a family?
Always
5) COMPLAIN about EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!
Always!

1) Eat what you eat? Most of the time
2) Finish what you give them? Usually not. Mason will eat most anything, but doesn't have a big appetite.
3) Stay at the table while they eat? This is a big battle for us. He wants to get up after he's had a bite or two of everything on his plate. We are trying to teach him that you stay at the table until everyone is finished, but it is hard for a preschooler.
4) Eat as a family? Yes
5) COMPLAIN about EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! Not usually, in fact sometimes he compliments the food--and then won't eat another bite

As you guys know, I acquired my kids at ages 3 & 4 from Korea. Children raised on kimchee (& in the case of my son, not much else) will eat anything.

1) Eat what you eat? Always. There were a few hated veggies, but I always served two, so they could eat the one they liked.
2) Finish what you give them? You bet.
3) Stay at the table while they eat? Absolutely
4) Eat as a family? Yes, although sometimes DH worked late
5) COMPLAIN about EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! Pretty much never.
