Default 2yo and 4yo sharing a room

Hannah and Steven. VERY boy and VERY girl. How do I get them to share a room? Vegas this last weekend was a nightmare because it was like a big fat pajama party with two of them sharing a bed. Hannah likes to stay up late, Steven likes to wake up early. He is rambunctious, she likes to have her space and independence. I need to get Christine out of my room because I know it is why she is waking so often. I want to put her in Steven's room for now because there is a crib in there and get her sleeping through the night (or just up once or twice!) but that means putting Steven in Hannah's room in her trundle bed. Any suggestions on making this work?!

m, e, and c share a room (6, 4, 2). M & E have been sharing since 4 and 2. They each have their own bed and C has a trundle. It was hard to get Claire to settle in, but she's doing better. Some nights, one isn't ready to settle in so they get banished to the couch or the master bed. They don't like it because there is no one to talk to and they don't get to cuddle with mom or dad in bed.

B & F have shared a room since they were 3 and 5. Not too far off from yours. Does this mean Steven's room will be trundled underneath Hannah's? My recommendation is to go to great lengths to make it "their" room, not just Steven moving into Hannah's room. When B moved into F's room, I found coordinating comforters (one in blue/green and one in pink/yellow). Then I allowed B to redecorate her "half" of the room, we put up those vinyl stick-em fairies and moved some of her stuffed animals in. F got to change around his room a bit to accomodate her.

As for bedtimes, now is as good a time as any to get them on the same schedule. You'll need to start getting Hannah to bed earlier if she's starting kindergarten in a year anyway. I'd just cold turkey start a bedtime routine that gets them both to bed at the same time. Usually if one wakes earlier, you can get them out without waking the other. Getting one to bed after the other is a bit harder IMO.

I could go on, but I don't want to bore you! Bottom line, it was easier than I thought it would be!

I don't want to fully combine their rooms...I want to move Christine in Steven's room but keep it decorated how it is because she doesn't care that it is all little boy in there and put Steven in Hannah's trundle with his car bedding by night and let Hannah still have her room and space by day. I eventually will change it up when I figure out who is going to be sharing rooms once Christine starts sleep through the night. I know Hannah will sleep through Steven waking up but he won't sleep through her waking up. They do go to bed at the same time and have the same routine but they don't actually SLEEP at the same time. He still naps so I think that is why he gets up earlier than she does. Christine, and it could be her cold, is not sleep well AT ALL. She isn't doing her swing well anymore, doesn't do coming in bed with me well at all, and is too restless in her crib in my room. I want to put Steven in Hannah's trundle and get Christine in the crib in his room (he also has a toddler bed in there that he sleeps in and he has been done with the crib for about a month...). I would let him stay in his toddler bed if I knew he could sleep through the middle of the night feedings but he won't. I may have to do some CIO soon too...She has figured me out and knows I am a big fat sucker but I am getting cranky and worn down and need to sleep!

Can Hannah and Christine share a room? H and N share right now but I go get him every night when he wakes for a feeding and he often spends the rest of the night in our bed so he can nurse at will w/o me really waking up. Anyhow, she's in a queen and he has the crib and they do their own schedules. I think the main thing is if BC would wake up H or not. Just a thought
