Default Re: What are you working on?

Oye, I finally sewed new canvas for the swingset (I'll get a pic tomorrow), have a bag to start sewing, my scrapbooking is far behind but at least I have worked on it a bit, I started knitting a sweater for DD but it is cabled and I am not so profecient with them. I have 5 sets of hats and booties to get done in the next month! I think that is it aside from normal around the house type projects. I actually filled a 70 gallon bin with projects to work on - you know, in case I ever get bored. Whatever was I thinking?!?!

I am working on two scrapbooks, one for each of the girls for each year of their lives. I am caught up in each to about Easter of this year. Not bad for me!

I'm still working on my quilt, but I really haven't worked on it for a while! I've been too busy with my garden and organizing women's group activities at church that the quilt has gotten pushed back. I'm hoping I can push as the weather gets cooler so I can make my goal to have it done before the end of the year!

I've done a bit of the piecing, but I made an error in cutting the next part I need to piece, so I've got to go get more fabric- grr! That's another part of my hold up- a pending trip back to the fabric store!

You guys are so crafty...I feel like a mere shell of a woman.

My only "project" is some fabric I bought about 2 months ago to make curtains for my kitchen with. I can't seem to get motivated to get my sewing machine out and set up!

I will live vicariously through all of you!

Done!! I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I'm not sure about the rhinestones in the center, but I couldn't figure out what to put there. (And, I kinda get crazy when it comes to rhinestones ...)

I think the glitter block may not be a great choice since I used b/w pictures. (I initially bought it to add color.) I may actually pull that out and get a large flourish stamp and stamp a similar flourish with black ink. What do you think? (The paper is a pretty green, BTW.)

For the dresses I just made, we found the fabric at Joann's. It was 100% cotton and looks like a light blue bandanna.
Love that fabric!!! Thanks for the links! I may be in trouble now ...

I'll stop by Joann's and see what I can find today. I'd really like to get my hands on some fabric and get started soon. I'd like to have them ready for a few upcoming parties.
