My next big project is re-painting and redecorating DD's bedroom. She's outgrown her pink, girlie bedroom and decided to re-decorate like Miley Cyrus' bedroom (below). It think it's doable but DD's bedroom is MUCH smaller. And I don't think we'll "do" the tiger-striped chairs !!!!!!

I've also started reading books again I'm reading Dan Brown's Angels & Demons.......really interesting so far!!

I washed the fabric for the Halloween costumes but haven't done anything else. I need to get on the ball. I hate cutting patterns out, so I might recruit Pedro for that part.

I need to finish hemming the curtains in my sunporch and finish the summer outfit I started to make for Katie 4 months ago. It's going to be too small by the time I finish.

All my crafty stuff has been on hold while we worked on our backyard reno and gardening. Now that we are DONE (YAY FINALLY!!!) I am eager to get back into things! I want to make a new shower curtain, kitchen curtains and start thinking about Halloween costumes.

I have tons of knitting projects on going: sweater, socks (multiple projects) a few shawls and a potholder, baby stuff...lots of stuff.

I am spinning some wool/bamboo mix and it is great!

I am getting ready to break out my new sewing machine.

As to when I find time, knitting is great because little projects are portable. I take my knitting with me everywhere and work on it here and there...the time really adds up.

Me too! I'm on my second book in three weeks.

I am planning to stop by Joann's tomorrow and look for fabric for pillowcase dresses. I'm very excited to break out the sewing machine again.

And I want to redecorate our master bedroom. I may try to make the comforter cover, headboard, and drapes ... maybe!

I'm pairing then with brown cropped leggings and will use brown grosgrain ribbon.

For the dresses I just made, we found the fabric at Joann's. It was 100% cotton and looks like a light blue bandanna.
