| Re: What are you working on? | | I just sewed a dress for myself (it's the first time in a loooooooong time I've tried to make clothing for me). It's been done for 2 weeks now with the exception of hemming it. I hate hemming so it's laying undone in the sewing room. I just finished up one quilt, am working on another and trying to come up with an idea for the next one. I have a list of Christmas gifts I need to get started on, but that motivation hasn't hit me yet. |

| Re: What are you working on? | | I'm always working on scrapbooking, although most times I'm designing layouts and not really getting any scrapping done for myself. I just made new curtains for our trailer. I'm doing a beach theme in there. Hmmmm, other than my photography that is being used to redecorate my guest bath that's it at the moment. |

| Re: What are you working on? | | I am ... wait for it ... working on a scrapbook!! Why is this so weird? I am NOT a scrapbooker. I see an empty scrapbook, all the papers, all the stickers, etc and I get totally overwhelmed! So, I decided to create what I call a "gradual" scrapbook. I will create the pages as ideas come to me. I plan to frame the pages I create until I think of the new one. When I take one page out of the frame, I'll put it in an empty scrapbook. This is going to be such a better way for me to release what little scrapbooking creativity I have without going to the poorhouse buying supplies I'll never use!
Below is my first page. The clock overlay says "Life is not measured in minutes but moments." This is the art project that calls for 2 pictures. It's still in progress, but I have pale green scrapbooking rhinestones that will go in between each number. I still need to find a good middle piece. The floral accent is the glitter cut I was talking about yesterday. |

| Re: What are you working on? | | Endless scrapbooks: Ya Ya, Nora's and Tara's
Burp cloths for some ladies who are expecting
A small crocheted baby blanket for Tara (Nora, as firstborn, got the one my grandmother made)
I want to do either aprons or pillowcase dresses for all the girlies in my life for Christmas.
When do you ladies find the time to do all your crafts??? I am cooking or on the computer during naptime and then it's 9 pm or later before I can finally sit down. Except for crocheting, the other projects are too messy to pull out at so late an hour!
Maybe that's my problem (one of them, anyway). I used to have a room I could shut off, so all my crafts were out and ready to roll when I was ready. Now I have to set it all up and put it away so the girls can't get to it. |

| Re: What are you working on? | | The only thing I've been working on is photography. I usually have some other sewing projects going on but right now I'm trying to focus fully on my goal.
I'm also with Kim, in that I can't find much time to do any type of craft lately. Blah. |

| Re: What are you working on? | | Scrapbook/babybook planning - I am not going to attempt anything yet but I have dozens of layouts sketched and I am collecting supplies.
Bows for Anna, or perhaps to start a side business. I keep putting these off because (1) Anna has no hair, and (2) I don't have time for a side business.
A pillowcase dress for Anna. I *think* I have found my fabric, but I am still poking around.
So, really, I am just in the planning stages for everything. |

| Re: What are you working on? | | I just finished pillowcase dresses for the girls (as well as Molly's American Girl doll and Lucy's lovey) and they look so adorable and were so easy! I made all of them in 3 hours. I just ordered fabric to make 2 more for birthday gifts.
I have been making a lot of burp cloths with fabric remnants and cloth dipes (pictured). I feel like I have a million 'welcome baby' gifts to give in the near future.
I am waiting for JenR's baby clothes to arrive so I can get started on the memory quilt. I am really looking forward to that project!

I tried to pick ones that would look nice together and be easy to work with (she had a TON of jersey/stretchy baby stuff, and not so much plain cotton). Yay!! |
