Default Sewing Supplies

I am buying a nice sewing cabinet/table for the house. I currently have no such thing ... sewing while hunched over the coffee table is NOT fun. Once I get my table/cabinet, I plan to do a lot more sewing. Anyway, aside from a sewing machine, pins, sewing scissors, bobbin box, and thread organizer, I don't have any other supplies. Any you suggest? Cutting boards, rotary cutters?

My favorite accessory is still my electric scissors. Makes cutting out patterns so easy. I also could not live without my folding cutting board and the push pins to go with it.

I have one of those large cutting boards, but rarely use it becuase I can't leave ti set up. I just got a hanging shelf thingy for my spare room closet to organize my fabrics... I have a bunch of ends and left over fabrics that were just piled messily into a basket. Just looking at my nicely organized fabric makes me happy

Other than that, I think you're on your way. You will probably find you need something for a specific project once you get going.

This reminded me of something I meant to post last week! Jo-Ann fabrics is having a notions sale Labor Day Weekend. Everything on the notion wall is 50% off and they were giving out a 10% off your whole purchase coupon (sale or regular price). Good deals to be had!

I loved using Janelle's rotary cutter and cutting board. They made it sooo much easier. Once I get a craft room, they are on my list!!
