Ash had art class this morning and they always do the neatest stuff.
Today they used the water-soluble packing peanuts to make sculptures. All you have to do is dip the very tip of one end of one peanut in water and then it will stick to another dry peanut. You can keep doing that over and over with new peanuts and build some pretty large sculptures or long chains. The best part is that when you are done you can pour a cup of water over the whole thing and watch it all melt.
Just thought I would share - I know some of you are probably desperate for indoor activities this time of year.
We just used them yesterday. I actually buy the colored ones at the teacher's store. They are also great for making "wall" designs. Hang a piece of paper on the wall and let them stick away. Here's a link to the type we have.
