Default Fabric?

Where do you ladies find great fabric?

I loved Kim's for the burp cloths and Lynn's for the next dress she's making.

I have been getting stuff and Joann's but it just isn't as cute!

I really like fabric.com and one of my favorite fabric designers is Amy Butler. You can search for her fabric at that site by using her name.

I think I'm going to be sorry I asked. 8-) Those Amy Butler fabrics are beautiful!

I got that circle fabric at Joanns, but had to look a long time for it. I thought the cutest stuff was in the quilting section, but most of that is 100% cotton, and not always ideal for every project.

The prettiest/best quality fabrics I've seen are at my local quilt/heirloom sewing supply shop.

This line of fabrics looks great, and their website gives store locations.
ETA: I second the Amy Butler fabrics!!

I was going to suggest Michael Miller too! I thought Kim's fabric might have been from there.

Nope! I wish ... I would love to get some Michael Miller or Amy Butler fabrics.

I got my fabric from a local fabric shop in town. I was really surprised I found something so "trendy" at this place. They have other BEAUTIFUL fabrics that I may have to get ...

ETA: The fabric shops in town sell mainly cottons. I need some taffeta or organzas for a big "home" project I am envisioning. Oh my, Sparqi was right ... I have a new addiction ...
