I grew it once but didn't know how to use it. I think you can just kind of crush the leaves a bit and put htme in your tea nad it sweetens it. Its VERY sweet though. Carol has to know something about this don't ya think??

I wish I could tell you. We planted it last year, but the plant didn't make it. It probably wanted to be watered or something else like that that I couldn't be bothered to do

OK. Glad I am not the only one. I tried a bit in my tea and it wasn't bad (a friend gave me a couple of the TJ's packets...yes, it does sound illegal!).

But then I tried one in my coffee (on 2 occasions) and it made the coffee bitter.

I am back on regular sugar. My vice of choice

I found the liquid much better tasting. I used it to sweeten my 'uterus tea' as DH called it

I just found stevia at Trader Joes today! They sell it straight, mixed with a milk powder, and in packets. I bought some to try out of curiosity.

Yeah, I like mine in tea, because it is a bit herb-y, not a fan of it in my coffee.

So far I've just dried the leaves and ground them up into a powder, it's not yielding enough though.
