the popular grub killers, such as grub-x, are natural. They contain a microbe that kills the grubs, not chemicals.

Do a google search for parasitic nematodes. The spores come as a powder. They are probably what Carol referenced.

DH puts down grub-x in late May-early June every year. But we are in the mid-west, so time frames might be different depending on where you are.

He also said he's heard of good results using a sonic device in the ground to drive moles away. We've never had that problem, so can't give you IRL testimony.
