I gained 30 with Katie and 25 with Andrew. I was overweight to start.

Just make sure you are eating good foods for the baby and ignore the scale!

40 lbs with each. Each time I started at my ideal weight and didn't gain until 12+ weeks. Then I must have packed it on at the end.

That I'm afraid to gain. I feel guilty even saying it because I really just want a healthy baby, but I lost 10 pounds last year and now I'm dreading gaining weight again!

With Rebecca I gained 24 lbs. I started out pretty close to my ideal weight and I lost a lot of weight BFing.

With the twins I gained 19 lbs! I was sick for the first six months and they were born at 34 weeks, but considering those 2 factors they were still a decent size for twins (Ashley was 4 lbs 8 ozs and Amber was 4 lbs 3 ozs, they both lost a lot in the NICU but that is another story) Again I lost alot of weight BFing. They literally sucked the life from me but that was ok with me!

I gained 25 lbs. Jack was a peanut at 5lbs. 6oz, so most of that was me. I was however back to my pre-preggo weight in a week. Before you say "must be nice"... I had a raging uterine infection that nearly killed me, and I had an aversion to food my entire pregnancy, as well as while I nursed. Eating food was like eating cardboard for me. I was so thankful when I started liking food again that I didn't even care if I gained.... & I did .

Just to make you feel better, I started pretty much at my ideal weight (maybe a few pounds over, but no more), and I gained the 50 lbs that is recommended for twins. My kids were 6 lbs 12 oz and 6 lbs 11 oz.

I did hold on to the last 15 lbs until I stopped nursing. Then it just melted off over the next few months. Just wanted to tell you that because all you ever hear is how breastfeeding gets you right back down to your ideal weight - well that is true for some, but not for all. I was so glad that a friend told me that so that when it happened to me, I still had hope that it would come off!! (and it did)

Try not to worry about the weight gain too much. Just be as healthy as possible and the rest will happen in good time.

I think as long as you eat healthy and keep up a bit of exercise - taking walks, etc., that is all you can do. Your body is going to gain the weight that it gains. Look at Kate Hudson - I think she gained 60 lbs and she's back to sporting a bikini (granted she's got tons of help, but 60 lbs is no easy feat). Anyway, don't deprive yourself, eat healthy, keep moving, breastfeed (if you can) when you give birth (burns lots of calories) and enjoy your life and growing baby! Worry about the weight after.
