Have any of our moms-to-be picked names yet? I have had baby names on the brain - thinking of what we'd name a third child, even though a third child is not gonna happen! So I want to get my fix through you girls. Can you share what you've picked or what you are considering?

I can share what we aren't considering. DH is stuck on Matilda!!! Ummmm...yeah...no idea why. I vetoed it. Any opinions on Matilda?

I think it was cute for the girl in the movie. I'm not a fan, and if you're not a fan, it should be vetoed!

He wants to call her Mati for short. Which is cute but I can't name one DD Jessica and the other Matilda. The Matilda would never forgive me!

My first MIL was the only person I have ever known named Matilda. She went by "Billy."

I like Matilda but I would call her Tilly. I think there are too many Mati, Madi, Maddy's out there already.

When I was late last week and trying to calm myself the only good thing I could come up with was that I'd get to name another baby
Jonas would be my first boy name choice and I am not sure about a girl, I like Jillian but thought it would too close to Lilia. NOT that we're having another.

ETA: I've obviously been watching too much reality TV because the other night I was annoyed that a plastic surgeon on one of those shows named his daughter Brooke Lyn. Love Brooke, Lyn is nice but NOT together. Oh, and that Scott Baio named his daughter Baily???? Bailey Baio??? Seriously!

I have a cousin who just named his daughter Matilda (there is an H somewhere in their spelling, I think). His wife is Sweedish and their son's name is Tristan. Tristan and Matilda seem to go really well together to me. I don't think they are planning to use a nickname at all. It has caused some controversy in my family - everyone but the parents themselves, me, and my mom absolutely hates the name.

My bf's niece is Matilda. It's grown on me since she was born.

We're not pg or ttc, but when we do, if it's a girl I'd really like to name her Camille and call her Millie. The boy name we didn't use when Sam was born is Isaac, but I don't know how sold on it I am. It's a family name, so I like it in that respect, but it doesn't really have a great nickname (and I don't like Zac as a nickname for Isaac, which I've heard before).

Swedes do like their Hs, you don't pronounce it as "th" but as "t" + "h" as in Matt - hilda. Besides Mathilda, there is Margrethe, which is what I wanted to name DD, but I just knew everyone would pronounce it wrong.
