Default Re: Morning Sickness: what worked for you?

The only thing that worked for me was to constantly keep food in my tummy...which meant eating little snacks all day long. And I ate whatever I could stand at the time...for like a month straight all I wanted were Nutrigrain bars. I would try to at least eat some protein whenever I could.

Sucking on hard candy worked sometimes, drinking iced tea, popsicles, pickles. I tried those wrist bands for motion sickness and found that they either didn't work at all, or only marginally helped.

For a while it helped if I smelled lavendar scented lotion.

I'm with Keri...both really happy for you, but also totally sympathizing at how awful it is.

That, along with candied ginger and gingerale....But, honestly (I hate to tell you), NOTHING worked. It ended with Nolan at 20 weeks, but then the heartburn started. Ugh.....I want o puke just remembering how I felt.

Hang in Mama.....totally worth it in the end!

No real advice here since I was fortunate not to be very queasy either time... just wanted to say again that I am SO THRILLED that you have the opportunity to complain about morning sickness!

Unless I am eating yogurt, fruit, or crackers I can't keep my meal down. Other foods don't turn me off, they just come back up! Help! What can I do? Stop eating anything other than yogurt, fruit, and crackers? Eat smaller meals? What worked for you?

Thanks ladies! I don't want to whine but I am suffering over here and it sucks!

Have you tried SeaBands? They are for motion sickness. They worked when I was pg with E.
