Oh boy - I unpacked my box of mat clothes from 3.5 years ago. All I can say is "ick." I need to do some updating!!! I put on the Gap jeans I wore back in the day and they are just horrible. Glad I invested in some mat 7s. But I need to get some tops. I was pregnant at a different time of the year last time around so all of my stuff is summery - lots of tank tops. So I'm on a mission today - should be able to find some stuff on sale now that spring is right around the corner.

Please know I'll be posting a lot of mat clothes on Ebay sometime this weekend - or the trading post...

Yeah, I was pregnant only 2 years ago and my stuff is pretty bad too. My work pants are ok. I never had good mat jeans. But a lot of my tops are ruined. We're are supposed to be on a shopping freeze (trying to figure out finances of the new house). That and I had a lot of borrowed stuff last time around that I don't have this time.

OMGness, the clothes all get so much better. The tummy panel gets better even the no panel low rise. Get the Gap roll panel...I had three babies in the same season and I changed almost all my clothes out each time because even a basic t-shirt was better!

I have already given away all my maternity clothes from Anna because after Ash I realized that it just doesn't make sense to hold onto them between pregnancies - styles change, being pregnant in different seasons, better quality becomes available, etc. I have one basic, classic, formal black maternity dress that I am going to hold onto but otherwise if we decide on #3 I will just buy new stuff.

Plus, I found that I couldn't stomach wearing the clothes from the first pregnancy because I wore them so much that I was STILL sick of them! When you only have 3 pairs of pants that fit you for 4 months straight, the last thing you want to do is wear those pants again!

I am going to burn my work maternity pants the evening of Mar. 14. I swear, I would rather come to work in my flannel jammies pants than these things!! So tired of looking at them.

ETA: I found really good/nice stuff at Motherhood. I bought a couple of "flagship" pieces (pea coat, my dress for DH's Christmas party) at Pea in a Pod, but I really didn't like spending that kind of money on clothes I'd wear for a few months and possibly never again.

I've been wanting to try the Gap roll top jeans since the end of my pregnancy with Isabella...but I just can't talk myself into buying them because enough people lent me pants that I don't really *need* them.

I am not using ANY of my old maternity clothes. All the ones I have now are borrowed from friends because I lost so much weight and I no longer work outside the house. I loaned out all my old maternity clothes and am using everyone else's hand-me-downs now.

So, anyone have a pair of Gap roll top maternity jeans in size 12?
