So I went to see my OB today and it looks like I'm 3cm dilated and my cervix is SUPER thin and everything looks good and ready to go any moment. The baby is in good position and condition.
My OB suggested I went to the hospital tonight (that was a dejavu momen for me

) so he would break my waters since he said things would get so faster with baby#2 that I wouldn't want to find myself in a situation where I'm rushing to the hospital with a baby hanging between my legs. I asked if there was any other reason, threatening to the baby and there isn't. I told him I'd rather wait for the baby to come out on its own since we're not even past its due date. So he suggested I show up at the hospital tomorrow at 6am for the breaking of the waters but no chemical intervention (which I've discussed with him before). He said we'll let things proceed naturally from them on as I want it, and they will with ease.
Now I still want to wait it out...I feel since there are no problems so far that there is no rush...except convenience for me and the doctor (right?)
Of course he said the baby could come even tonight on its own...

On the other hand my friend rushed to the hospital with the baby hanging between her legs and her waters hadn't yet broken and they only broke at the hospital bed right when the midwife was getting ready to break them herself. So I know breaking of waters doesn't necessarily come first...so it shouldn't be what I'm waiting for.
Opinions? What are the signs I should wait for to be certain it is time to go?
