I would wait. I had one baby by induction (at 2 weeks overdue) and one who came all on her own. The natural delivery was by far MUCH better.

Good luck. Sounds like you are working your way through things??? I know this post ways hours ago. I am the only one here who took the induction option when it was handed to me and both times it went great so I say do what your gut feels right. I was in the hospital "near" labor when I let them induce me with Steven and signed up for it to be done with Christine. I am sure "natural" is easier...but I made it 9.5 centimeters with C before my epidural arrived and I am still standing today!

Follow your gut. If natural is what is important to you, go with it. If you want more control of the situation, let him induce you.

We each make our decisions for different reasons and that is ok.

I would definitely wait. Wait, I am definitely waiting! According to my doctor I have been "ready" for about two weeks now. I didn't let him check my cervix, but he felt where baby's head was, and it is super low on a very soft cervix... and that's how it's been for two weeks.

Also, DS was delivered by a doctor they "found" in the hallway, because nobody could get a hold of my (former!) doctor, and she turned out to be a very nice lady... and I really didn't care at that point.

Let's have our babies this weekend!

I think waiting is good. Babies come when they are ready.

I have to say I really don't get this incredible urge doctors have to break the bag of waters The baby is in the perfect environment and they want to go messing with that which almost always causes stress. I just don't understand.
