...in deciding to put a stop to bad nutrition and switch to better eating. So I'm increasing my protein intake and thanks to spring there's a lot more seasonal fruit I enjoy eating (other than bananas). I have stayed away from cookies, icecream, chocolate or chips for the past couple of days and I'm slowing down on my bread intake. I will hopefully manage to combine food groups better together (as in no carbs and fat together).
More veggies added too.
So yesterday I had fish and beets for lunch, fruits and some cottage cheese for a snack and roast beef and broccoli with a little bit of cheese for dinner. And today I had a nice yogurt/fruit/tahini smoothie for breakfast and an omelet later on and for lunch some fruit and a whole wheat ham/cheese/alfalfa sprouts sandwich (I don't care much for whole wheat but I've decided to switch to it)...
DH is very happy for me and very encouraging. Hopefully there will be no temptations around me...cause trust me with a big family always around one is bound to come across some decadent desert
