Default Hm, could it be a hernia?

I've been having a little pain on my left side near my c-section incision. It's more noticeable if I try to do ab work - kinda sharp. As I sit here, there is a dull ache. I'm wondering if it might be a hernia. Anyone had one after a c-section?

How long has it been? I found that I had to wait nearly 6 months before doing any real strenuous ab workout. I'd get terrible pains just like you described or like my muscles were ripping. Just take it easier & hopefully it's just more healing that's needed.

Ditto. I will be 5mon pp on Monday, but my training started this week. I definitely felt a burning in my incision site. I also felt it while stretching. I had a dull ache for a little while after exercising (tonight was a 30 minute run .... sooooo tired). I just chalked it up to the muscles being rebuilt and the skin around the incision stretching and moving with the exercise.

Yup both times... there is still a dull pain occasionally even after two years... After G I Thought they may have left a sponge in there or something

I wish I could blame the pain on a couple kick ass ab workouts at the gym, but that's not the case. LOL. I noticed it the other day when I was sitting on the floor with Will. I sat up to grab a book and felt a sharp pain.

I had pains for almost a year after. Joys of motherhood.
