I eat flaxseed and wheatgerm on my oatmeal every morning. Well, I just remembered it was around this stage in my first pregnancy that I was told to stop eating flaxseed because it hasn't been tested enough to determine whether or not it can have an effect on the fetus. I was paranoid about everything while pregnant with
DD so I stopped eating it. However, I'm tempted to continue with it this pregnancy because it's known to have such good health benefits and, most importantly, I like it. On the other hand, after the peanut butter discussion earlier this morning, I don't want to do any harm. Has anyone here taken flaxseed while pregnant? Any thoughts?
