Thanks, I'll give it a try. Though I've tried candied ginger before (they say it cures nausea) and it made me more sick (I was seasick).

I completely sympathize with you. I had heartburn so bad when I was pregnant. Every. single. day. I never had any before I was pregnant, but I have it from time to time now. I'm ashamed to admit I ate a lot of Tums while pregnant, but all went well in the long run.
