If you weigh in at various locations and meetings, do you feel comfortable that all the scales are calabrated the same to give you the same number?

I just returned from yet another location for a weigh in and they were not very nice to me when I asked the question. First of all I'm up 3 pounds, THREE POUNDS! How in the heck did that happen? I was shocked. Stayed the same, maybe based on my scale at home, but up? So I asked my question. I was at a WW location where there were several stations. I asked the other woman behind the counter if I could get on her scale? "NO" she says sternly. Not "you know, I've felt the same way. It's something we ensure so that doesn't happen...." Just "NO!" Stare at me. Beotch! By then several people had come in for weigh ins, great. So I calmly mentioned that perhaps I'm not the first person to ask this question, it's probably not uncommon. Walked out the door with Sophia in tow. B!TCH. I'm just shocked that they weren't more understanding of my question.
THere, I feel better. And how pathetic is it that I've only been at this for 5 weeks?
Now I'm off to Wisconsinfor the weekend to eat cheese and brats. Crap, another week of struggles...

That is terrible!!! We actually discussed this at a meeting recently because our normal scale was on the fritz and our leader brought a different one and many people went up - our leader said something about how important it is to always use the same scale, etc. That really is awful. I think it's so important to also find a meeting/leader who is understanding. "NO!" is not an acceptable answer to your perfectly legitimate concern. I will just say also that I've had a couple weeks like that - up 2 or 3 pounds out of nowhere, and I'm convinced it's water weight. The next week I'm usually back down to normal. I hope you can find a location that you like!!

Because they make their money from those scales, they are regulated by the board of Weights and Measures (at least here in CA) to ensure the scales are accurate. I have weighed at other locations and felt that the scales were fine (yeah, I was up, but not surprised to be. ugh!)

How they treated you was SHAMEFUL. I would complain to your leader and find the regional manager to complain. That is downright unacceptable.

Sucks that you are up, but I do know from personal (horrible) experience, that it can happen no matter how diligent you are. I'll bet you are down next week. Just keep focused as much as you can in Wis.
