| MISC WW stuff | | I just had my first official weigh in. 1 lb. I guess it is better then gaining a pound, right? Given my weekend, I'm not surprised.
I was talking to a woman at work about WW. She said that when she did it she was given a range of points, plus flex points. I don't have a range of pts. Is that something different? She said that she figured if she ate at the high end of her range the one day and swapped to the low end the next, she lost the most weight and then basically ate all of her flex pts over the weekend. Has anyone tried that?
I have found that I really like bean burritos for lunch. (FF beans, multigrain wrap, salsa and a bit of cheese) Can anyone suggest a low fat sharp cheddar? I've been measuring out an 1/8 of a cup of regular, but I want to save my pts.
I bought a scale too. I haven't used it yet, but I am hoping this will help too.
Any other tips to share? |

| Re: MISC WW stuff | | I'd skip the cheese. FF cheese is just icky. I'd just eliminate the calories all together and add more 0 pt stuff like salsa and tomatoes or red peppers or something. Or, use low fat sour cream or good fat like guac.
And WOO HOO on the loss! Given your weekend situation, you did AWESOME! |

The range of points is how the WW plan worked about 3 or 4 years ago. Back when they had a range, there were no flex points. The range of points was your minimum up to your minimum + 5 ... so if you got 20 pts. a day under the current calculation, your range was 20 - 25 points per day. So, it really hasn't changed too much - they just changed how they allocated those 35 "extra" points to allow more flexibility in the plan. |

| Re: MISC WW stuff | | YEAH Carrie!! Good job!!
I use "Reduced Fat" cheese (I believe it's Kraft Monterrey Jack/Colby 2%). It's fine when melted into stuff. I love a bean burrito, too...it's abouncf the only thing within the point range that actually fills me up! I make quesadillas with the same things you mentioned, too. Good stuff!
Oh, and not to hijack your thread, but on a WW note...I didn't realize that after you lose a few pounds that they will LOWER your daily points!! ACK!!! I had just gotten used to my daily points and was happy about losing weight and not hungry, and then they take away two of my points! So no more fudge bar at the end of the day for me unless I freaking starve myself.
Congrats on the POUND, Carrie!! Great job! |

My leader though has often told us though it's okay not to really change points levels until your weight loss stalls at your current level. |

And, the average weekly weight loss is 0.5 - 2 pounds. So, you are right on! |

| Re: MISC WW stuff | | Carrie, that's great! I use low-fat cheese - I think it's Kraft. It's already shredded. They make a mexican blend, too which I use in burritos, etc. Congrats on your loss! |

| Re: MISC WW stuff | | Carrie that's good.
I also bought Kraft chesse. I had low fat sharp cheddar in a bar. I like to use monterrey/jack and I add a little of low fat mozzarella. |
