Default Kashi Go Lean Crunch

Why would anyone want to eat a bowl full of cardboard and gravel?

Seriously...I bought this in an effort to add some fiber/protein to my mornings and it is HORRIBLE. Like so bad I couldn't finish it. It took me like a minute to chew each bite!

Anyone have any better ideas for healthy cereal?

Hmmmm...I really like the regular Protein and fiber Go Lean Crunch. I know they have another box that really does taste like cardboard....I think it is their honey crunch? BIG difference between the two.

I am not a cereal person. I'd do yogurts, eggs, toast with some PB, maybe a Kashi TLC 7 grain crunch bar if I am running late or yesterday...I had some left over roasted chicken that I shredded up the night before, threw it on a bunch of spinach, cut up some bell peppers, put some TJs balsamic dressing on top and had breakfast! it was REALLY good! I think I am going to do the same today before all my spinach starts to spoil!

Hmmm...I really like that cereal - especially as a granola topping on yogurt. Have you tried any of the Fiber One cereals? I like the one that is carmel squares. It reminded me of Golden Graham cereal.

Really? I love the Go Lean Crunch - especially with fruit and yogurt. It does taste better if you let it soften up a bit. I like the Quaker Oat Squares as my alternate. I've been doing real oatmeal with dried cherries lately - it's so good and really doesn't take very long to make at all.

Kashi Heart To Heart is Jack's favorite. I know there are healthier ones, but it's not too bad. I like Kashi's version of shredded wheat.

Go Lean Crunch is excellent! But, it has sugar. Regular Go Lean has very little sugar and I could see you saying that one tastes like cardboard (even though I like it).

I LOVE Kashi Good Friends. It's excellent! My cereal stash currently includes:
Shredded Wheat
Kashi Good Friends
Kashi Autumn Wheat
Kashi Mighty Bites
Kashi Nuggets
Quaker Oatmeal Squares

I would also recommend trying the Go Lean Crunch Honey Almond Flax. We can't eat it here because of the nuts, but I've tried it in the past and it is really good!
