I went to the gym last night at 5 pm. I usually go in the am.
I got reminded why I don't go at night. Bunch of sweaty guys who are completely inconsiderate. Not that this stuff doesn't happen during the day, too, but people are apologetic about it:
1. Put your equipment away when you are done with it. If weights or balls are off the rack, I presume they are being used.
2. When you are using a piece of equipment USE it. Don't stand around holding the handles and gabbing about last night's game with your dude buddies. I am on the clock and need to get done and pick up my kids.
3. When I ask you how long you are going to be on a machine (that I was using, by the way, you just cut in and didn't ask), don't get a blank look and say "Ummmm...not sure". Yeah, well I am sure. Move your ass so I can finish.
4. Please shower. Old sweat is stinky.
5. Do not crowd your mat between me and the other mats and the wall. Some woman did this yesterday. She saw me doing squats on a bosu with a weight...a big one. She put her mat between my bosu and the wall and proceeded to do sit ups...something she could have done ANYWHERE...like not the weight room!
Sure, lady, I am happy to bash your skull with my weight. GRRRRR. I had to move to avoid hitting her.
Ok. Rant over unless I think of something else!
