Default Crap! I ate half of my points!

I was "so" careful this morning. I measured out everything. I only ate one sausage, etc. Everything was low in points, only, they add up fast! I completely forgot to add the points for syrup and butter on my pancakes

I'll have steamed veggies for lunch, eat a fiber one bar on the way to the party and find the will power to pass over the birthday cake.

Ugh. Why couldn't I just be one of those naturally thin people?

What I learned with this diet...if I mess up one meal (yesterday donuts for b-fast and a pulled pork bbq sandwich and sweet potato fries from an AWESOME southern restaurant....) not to starve yourself on your next healthy meal. You need to have some protein. Cook up some chicken breasts or even have some lean deli meat handy to go with those veggies. While it sounds tempting to eat zero points on the next meal to make up, it will just set you up for being hungry and searching for some unhealthy fillers before dinner time. Try to keep the protein and veggies going as much as you can. Hummus is great too. For all the "cheating" I did yesterday, I weighed myself this morning (I know I know, I need to wait until tomorrow...) and I still got down a pound and a half this week (YIPPEE). I have no flex points left for a busy Sunday out with the family but I just have to do my best to find those lean meats and veggies today!

Lean meats, that is a great idea. I have some "lite" Dietz and Watson deli turkey. I can have a roll-up with veggies. I'll have to remember that.

Thanks!
