Aside from my bras, which really aren't an option, I am loving my Spanx power panties!

I was really afraid that they would make me hot. I might even wear white pants with these babies on.

Edited to add: I didn't mean "hot" as in look good, but as in warm. I realize it doesn't sound quite right

I have some *super cute* ones from QVC - they don't all look like hippy clogs you know. I live in my Birkis. They are stylish yet comfortable. My feet never hurt, even when I've been teaching in them all day or walking all over DL. And I look cute to boot

I had never heard of Spanx until I was flipping through and saw them on The View yesterday, they look like a must have item- I didn't watch the hwole segment- are they sold in department stores or on-line only?

The founder also designed a line for Target. They are cheaper, but I don't think they hold everything in as well. However, they do the trick. I forgot mine this weekend when we went to the ILs. I ran to Target and picked up a pair and they are fine. I don't think they they are woven quite as tight, or something. I put a hole in it at the crotch - no idea how, but that won't stop me from wearing them.

Just the bra at this point -- but heck, that is the MAIN weapon in my arsenal! I recently had a chance to get in on a Spanx coop...but I think it has closed before I sat down to figure out what I wanted. Oh well, maybe another day...

BTW Jaye, does QVC have better deals on Bare Escentuals when it's on TV? If so, how do I found out when they'll be on?

Alison, yes QVC generally does have better deals on BM. You can go to QVC.com and look up the show to find out when it will be on, or you can become a QVC Insider like me and get the monthly magazinew which has the whole schedule in it. BM will be on again on June 15 at 9pm PST, then June 16 at 10 am & 7pm PST.
