We have less than three months until Christmas so I think at least once a week...once every two weeks it's time to go through the loot and either toss ten items or put ten items away in a tub to get ready for the new rotation.
I feel like I throw out or purge toys about once a week!!! We are so good about going to Goodwill on the weekends and sending clothing, toys and household items, yet there is ALWAYS MORE STUFF!!!!!! Where is it coming from and WHO is buying my kids this stuff? I am such a minimalist, it drives me batty to see unloved toys.

I really need to go through the toys again. I try to keep ahead of that kind of stuff, but I've been so busy the last few months that that was one of those things that didn't get done. My goodwill box in my closet is also full I take my last (hopefully) CPA test next Friday, so after that life should resume as normal.
