| Re: Diet Tips | | Holy moly!!! Poor Nikki!!! She looks so uncomfortable in that picture. Good for you for being a foster home for dogs. That's so cool. |

| Re: Diet Tips | | This is somewhat of a hobby for my great aunt. She always adopts the fatest goldern retreiver she can find and slims them down in no time- I think she's had 4 to date. Sounds like you and Nikki are doing great, Carol. |

| Re: Diet Tips | | Well, I won't be getting a dog, but I love the other tips. Just last night I had an "OMG that can't be my body!" moment. I was lying in bed tossing and turning, and my legs were twitching. I sat up to stretch and I just couldn't believe how flabby I felt.
I agree with the protein tip. I don't like eggs or yogurt, so breakfast is tuffer for me, but if it means eating a FF hot dog for breakfast, then so be it. |

(I am such a bad mommy-to-be ... but I cut out the mayo and cheese!!!!) Though I did follow it up with some grapes ...
I *love* candy corns. Can you send me the other half?!?! |

| Re: Diet Tips | | For me it's all about the snacking. Being home all day with a baby who seems to snack constantly and being what feels like constantly in the kitchen, I tend to nibble here and there. I've been trying really hard the past few days to avoid all those snacks. Also, I'm trying to avoid "tasting" their leftovers and grabbing a few cookies when they have dessert. So far (since Thursday) I've lost 3-4 pounds. My goal to lose was about 7 lbs, so I'm pretty happy so far! |

| Re: Diet Tips | | I would like to lose about 7-10 lbs, too. I am in for 100 crunches a day. My old workout used to be 20 straight on, 20 to the left, 20 to the right, 20 with legs crossed at the ankle, and 20 more straight on. It really helps to break them up like that for the sake of variety.
Should we do a thread where everyone signs in each day when they do theirs? I feel like the threat of public embarrassment over being called out for not posting is what it will take to keep me motivated! |

| Re: Diet Tips | | Oh Bless you Carol - that poor puppy. She is such the chubbers. It's great that you are able to be a doggie foster parent. What a great thing to do for dogs. And what a great extra benefit for you too! |
