Default Cleaning Metal Mini-Blinds

OK...I HATE mini blinds and ripped down every single one when we moved in this house.

Our camper has them and I can't justify changing them out...it is only a camper after all!! There is no see-able way to get them off the brackets. (I tried FOR EVER) I tried to wash one one lathe at a time and bent two in the process

How in the *H* am I suppose to clean them?? They don't look filthy, but there is some dust/grime on them that I noticed when I started wiping with a wet cloth....

See, that's your problem. If you had resisted that first impulse to wipe them, you could have let it go forever LOL No suggestions, but I hate them too. This apartment has them, so I just ran them up to the top and don't use them.

We had them in our old house as the previous owner had installed them. We lived with them as we knew we wouldn't be staying in that house for long. With ours I was able to take them down in the summer and wash them and then hang them to dry outside. In winter I used baby wipes and cleaned them one slat at a time. It sucked but there didn't seem to be any other way.

No advice, just sympathy. We have them (came with the house) and I HATE them.

I vacuum the blinds in our trailer with the upholstery brush attachment.
