Empty dishwasher?! That might take more than 12 minutes for me but the tip itself will take seconds:
12 min - Pour a liberal amount of white vinegar (1 gal. is suggested, but I know I rarely have that much around the house so just use what you have) into the bottom of your empty dishwasher and set the dial to "wash" (this is to prevent too much water from being added to the vinegar and diluting it). Allow dishwasher to complete its cycle, making sure it is rinsed thoroughly. This will help remove mineral deposits, soap scum and chemical residue left by normal use. |
