Nora and I made this bread yesterday.

It was raining, I had the oven going and I went a little nuts:
Toasted pecans
Roasted Pumpkins
Made homemade cinnamon applesauce
So, I took Alison's (YUMMY) recipe and did this:
- Cut the pecans to 1 cup (I wanted Tara to eat the bread, so I used less and cut them up quite small...she loves it, BTW)
- Eliminated the white sugar and put in 1 C chopped Medjool Dates
- Cut the brown sugar to 3/4 C
- Substituted 1/2 C homemade cinnamon applesauce for 1/2 C of the butter
- Sprinkled Turbinado sugar on the top of the loaf/muffins before baking.
- Used 2 C fresh roasted sugar pumpkin
I made 12 muffins (baked for approx 20 mins) and 1 loaf of bread.
