Default Kim's Buttermilk Chicken

So I marinaded my bone in chicken breasts in the buttermilk and spices from your marinade recipe....Can I just bake this? It is so FREAKIN hot out that I have no desire to grill right now. I am a cooking DUMMY and don't know if I can just stick this in the pan in the oven at 350 for about 40 minutes and be done with it?

I've never tried it that way, but why not? I've done it in a skillet, but it's harder to test for doneness that way. Put it in at 350 and check it after 40 mins. It should be yummy regardless!

I think I'm going to try this on Thursday - do you think I could use plain yogurt instead of buttermilk? I've got a ton I'm trying to use up.
