| Re: KB - blue cheese potatoes | | Butting in here...
Mashed potatoes with a head of roasted garlic and a bunch of blue cheese are to die for. And they taste even better with turkey gravy. YUM! |

| Re: KB - blue cheese potatoes | | Sure!
Here's the link to the menu - Grilled Steak with Blue Cheese Potatoes and more d - Cover potatoes with cold water in a medium saucepan; add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer until just tender, about 15 minutes. Drain; let cool slightly. Slice potatoes in half, and brush lightly with oil; season with salt and pepper.
- Grill potatoes, turning once, until lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Immediately sprinkle with cheese. Thinly slice steak against grain.
eta: I also make this blue cheese butter:
In a bowl, mix the blue cheese, butter, and chives. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix the black pepper, garlic salt, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Spread on potatoes just like you would any butter. |

Oh, did I make meal planning a little more difficult? My bad. |

| Re: KB - blue cheese potatoes | | Oh yeah, here's the full recipe for that blue cheese butter: Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter - All
It is DELICIOUS. DH always loves it and repeatedly asks why we don't have it more often. I don't even care for blue cheese, but that butter is great with London Broil. |

| Re: KB - blue cheese potatoes | | Would this be any good with burgers? It's the only thing on the menu that I thought might taste ok with the potatoes. I love blue cheese, so now I'm dying to try this. |
