The Dr. Sears nutrition book touches on that too. For Alden that is completely true. If that boy has a drop in blood sugar...eeks! Everything I have read says grazing on healthy snacks is the way to go.
We have snacks whenever he is hungry between meals. However, our "meals" are not that big. Dinner is our bigger meal, because
DH likes a solid meal when he comes home from work. Alden doesn't generally eat a whole lot at dinner and it isn't a big deal to us.
